Autodesk's Boston offices are capped off with a vibrant and fun area where employees can meet in a more casual manner. The space features a game room, taps for fresh beer or cold brewed coffee, and some treadmills for light exercise. IN-Tension sits above the room to excite the employees, and evoke thoughts of lively conversation. There is an inherent energy to this installation that stems from one of it's inspiration sources; communication wires.
IN-Tension includes a separation wall that divides the space. This part of the installation beckons users of the space to play! The bungee cord, used throughout the installation, and the spacers are all intended to be manipulated by the Autodesk Team.
